Guess who's back

It was all good just a week ago
It is amazing how quickly things go bad. In a little under 4 days. I have lost a brother,been lied to by both my friends and superiors placing my career in jeopardy and fallen ill. I am anxiously awaiting the light at the end of this tunnel.

Vacation in D.C.
So after working 15 days straight and enduring the hot New Orleans sun. I am starting my vacation. D.C. is the first destination for a little rest and relaxation. Pool side at the hotel might not be to bad.
I am concerned about the warning label I found in my bathroom. Peep this...
What's the deal with that? The smoke detector is tripped by the shower? What happens when there is a fire? Straight foolishness.

A very good day
A long drive, time spent with family, a good meal and great friends. Can't beat a weekend like that. I did have a very sobering moment. Detroit, yeah, it's not for me anymore. It was sad that after spending the last two years running back and forth between Chicago and the D I came to the cold reality that I can't take any more backward steps.
